Dog Training
At Creature Comforts, I believe every great dog starts with the basics. A solid foundation in obedience helps shape how your dog learns, listens, and responds in everyday life—and it’s the key to building more advanced skills later on. As a trainer, my goal is to understand why your dog behaves the way they do, not just to correct it. I use positive reinforcement to guide behavior in a way that builds trust and respect between you and your dog. When your dog feels safe and understood, training becomes a fun and rewarding experience for both of you

What Makes Creature Comforts Different
I don’t just train dogs, I teach people how to understand their dogs. Real change happens when owners learn how to read their dog’s body language, respond calmly, and guide behavior with confidence and clarity.
I follow the L.I.M.A. principle: Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive. That means I always choose the gentlest, most effective training methods to help your dog succeed without fear or stress. My goal is to create lasting results built on trust, communication, and respect—not quick fixes.
I also specialize in working with anxious and reactive dogs, helping them (and their owners) build confidence in challenging situations. Having trained my own medical alert service dog, I understand firsthand the patience, consistency, and teamwork that true partnership requires.
At Creature Comforts, training isn’t just about obedience—it’s about building a stronger, happier bond between you and your dog.
