I am passionate about pets

My name is Max. And for as long as I can remember, I have loved working with animals. My long-term dream is to open my own dog rehabilitation sanctuary – a place for pups who have been rescued but may not be as adoptable due to illness, behavior, or age.

I grew up in Madison, WI, where I started Creature Comforts in 2015 and I continue to share my love of animals with my clients. I look forward to hearing from you!

Recently, I’ve moved to Rhode Island and am excited to continue providing loving care for pets in this new community.

Dog Grooming

Our one-on-one dog grooming sessions I go at your pups pace, with a mindful approach designed to keep your furry friend relaxed and comfortable. Unlike typical grooming salons, I prioritize gentle handling and a stress-free environment, focusing on each dog’s unique needs.

Dog Training

From training my own AKC trained service dog, to working with pups on leash walking, obedience, and behavior management. I believe in using the least invasive teaching tools first. As well as positive reinforcement training. While I do train dogs I also train their humans how to work best with their dogs

Dog Sitting

I Provide your furry friend with personalized care and attention right in the comfort of their own home. My 1:1 dog sitting services ensure your pup gets all the love, exercise, and companionship they need while you're away.

Pricing

All prices are listed when you click on “Book Now” above.

I charge a fair price, based on factors such as the dog’s type of coat, its current condition, the dog’s size, and other considerations.

Extra fees will be incurred when extensive de-matting is required.

Special Doggos

I love senior dogs and dogs with special needs. While this groom may take longer, your dog’s comfort is key and I let them set the pace.

Puppies! Get your puppy used to grooming early with a gentle bath, blow dry and brush. And lots of treats!

Cancellation Policy

I understand things come up. But please respect my cancellation policy:

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours out, no charge.

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of appointment will be subject to a 50% charge.

• No show appointments will be subject to a 100% charge.

• All clients will have one grace cancellation and fees waived. Fees will be waived for medical/personal emergency.

These policies reflect industry standards and protect my time and ability to schedule all my pet clients. Thank you for understanding.
